Our story
Mowly was founded in Lisbon in 2025 by legal engineers and practicing lawyers who saw the same problem everywhere: generic AI tools asked lawyers to trust black-box answers built on shallow data.
We took the opposite path. We built a proprietary legal-data architecture for the jurisdictions we serve — Portugal, Spain, Brazil and Macau — and made every part of the assistant configurable by the lawyers who use it.
After our first pilots in late 2025 and our first clients in Portugal in early 2026, Mowly now works alongside legal teams across four countries, turning hours of manual work into minutes.
